Why convert PNG to JPG?
JPG files are usually much smaller than PNG files for photos and screenshots with many colors. That helps with email size limits, upload forms and faster websites. For logos and simple flat graphics, PNG can actually be smaller, so convert those only if a site or app requires JPG.

What happens to transparent backgrounds?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas become white. If you need to keep the transparency, keep the PNG.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion happens inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Your images are never sent to our server or to anyone else.
Will the picture lose quality?
JPG is a compressed format, so a small amount of detail is lost. At quality 90 the difference is very hard to see. Use 100 for the best quality, or a lower number for a smaller file.
Can I convert many images at once?
Yes. Add as many as you like and download them one by one or as a single ZIP file. Very large batches may be slow on older phones, so split them if the page becomes sluggish.
